Retina is an excellent and professional facility. We were referred to Retina for our Shih-Tzu, Odi, and his eye problems, which have been healed by surgeries at Retina. We continued to visit with our Yorkie, Rocky. Veterinarian Michał Szeląg is very caring and helpful. He has treated for Rocky for some time, through many examinations and several surgeries. He has also been very thorough and stubborn in helping us analyze the root cause of Rocky's symptoms. When Retina has recommended other vet specialists, those other vets always comment positively on the thoroughness of examinations by Retina. Thank you Retina and Dr. Szeląg!

I have been taking my dogs to Retina on the recommendation of a friend of mine and acquaintances of its owner. The facilities are AMAZING and the doctors are very good too. I’m reducing 2 stars because the reception is still as unhelpful as it was years ago. They don’t answer questions to Polish clients, let alone foreigners. They don’t smile, pick up the phone, reply to emails, or interact in person. It’s hard to understand why. This last time, everything went ok until we had an emergency and the receptionist kept hanging up the phone on us saying in English that they were closing in 20 minutes and she didn’t understand. Speechless. In the end, because she was not picking up the phone as she was screening, the director of my hotel had to call her again with a different number until we got through and spoke to the doctor. It was a horrible situation. They also assured us we could get the results in Polish and in English to facilitate the situation. Anyone who owns a sick animal can understand how unnerving it is not to understand what’s happening because of medical words in another language:( One of the doctors met the commitment and gave us her notes in both languages (thx u!), while the specialist sent her analysis in polish only with a note that literally says: “ the translation is on you” in perfect English. Followed by another email in English explaining why she thinks it is inappropriate to express disappointment at this situation. Wouldn’t it be a better use of time to share the results in English vs keep sending emails with a justification for not helping?confusing to say the least. The lack of tact and sensitive shown sometimes doesn’t cease to shock me. After all these years. Pawel Stefanowizc is a great professional and he got a good team. The friend who came with me there, T. Kawiorski, stayed the full 4 hours once he saw how challenging the reception was. This, along with some language support for those non-native, is the only thing that needs to improve for this clinic to really become a European referent of medical excellence.

Very friendly and professional service at Retina vet clinic (my cat may disagree as he is super anxious 😃). Clinic is very modern, and has wide range of specialists available on site. Both, doctors and reception personnel are very welcoming and nice. They speak English too - which is super helpful, if you are an expat. Would deffo recommend!

Today, we had our first eye and teeth examination. Doctors are v knowledgeable and efficient. Prices are high but correlate with the quality of the service. Highly recommended.

I would highly suggest everyone to re-consider and diagnosis given by Mr. Stefanowicz. I was told to have urgent operation from the eye because of distichia diagnosis with the cost around 1200 zloty. His explanation was not clear. He tried to create a sense of urgency to charge me for this unnecesarry operation. I used drops for a week and his eye went back to normal. 3 months past my dog's eye is just fine. Never again... In addition, If you can't speak advanced polish, don't forget to bring your native speaker friend along with you.
